DAYA CHARITABLE SOCIETY
DAYA CHARITABLE SOCIETY
Daya Charitable Society, established in 2012 and inaugurated by the then MLA, Smt. K.S. Saleekha, is a beacon of hope and compassion. With 114 dedicated members, DAYA was evolved from its parent organisation Navodyam Kalasamithi, an institution with a longstanding legacy of social service. Inspired by this rich tradition, Daya has been relentlessly working towards uplifting communities through six key areas: social welfare, educational support, palliative care, ambulance services, freezer services, and Care for Seniors.
Our mission is driven by the generous contributions of our members and well-wishers. We stand firm in our commitment to serving humanity, embracing people from all walks of life without discrimination based on caste, creed, or religion. Over the years, we have extended our helping hand to those in dire need, especially during crises such as the COVID-19 pandemic, devastating floods, and the Wayanad disaster.
Through our relentless efforts, we have distributed food supplies and medicines worth ₹1.94 crores, bringing relief to countless individuals. Our commitment to service has also enabled us to acquire assets valued at ₹2.25 crores, including a well-equipped three-storied building that serves as a hub for all our humanitarian initiatives.
At Daya Charitable Society, we believe in the power of collective goodwill to create meaningful change. With unwavering dedication, we continue our journey to spread kindness, provide support, and uplift lives.
